Yesterday Justin had his final try out for the concerto, we tried to get all the family to attend. Some were sick or unable but we did surprise Justin with his Grandma. Being in the concerto means he would be the guest featured
performer during a concert. His dream come true! He has tried every year at Baylor and this was his last shot. He played Concerto for Saxophone and Orchestra by Paul
Creston. He did a wonderful job actually fantastic! He is so amazing and God has truly given him a gift with his talent. Oh course all of you already know he made it. He was first place out of
several players that tried out. I am not sure how many but the one's I heard were very good players. Will let everyone know when the concert will be as soon as we find out. Justin said when they announced the winner he noticed his sax
professor shed a few tears as did all of us that were there with him. I'm sure this was a great feeling for his professor as well. WE ARE ALL VERY VERY PROUD OF YOU JUSTIN!!!! YOU DID IT!!!!!! :o)
