Some Bad News!

My son called me Monday and said he had some really bad news. I had no idea what he was going to tell me. He found out thru a friend from Cleburne that my hubby and I's very dear friend had passed away in his sleep on Sunday. This is the friend that he (hubby) went with him to Nebraska to get his kids when his exwife took off with them. I knew he was not doing well but had no idea how he was doing recently. We saw him last year when his daughter graduated from high school. Our hearts are broken for his dear sweet family and we are still in shock. Due to our daughter being in the hospital we will not be able to make it to the services. This is also very hard but I know they will understand. You just can't take for granted any moment in your life. You should live as if it was your last day. Hubby and I are very grateful for having the chance to have such a great friend. The great thing is that he is now in Heaven with his father who he truly missed and his mother. Please keep his family in your prayers as this will be a difficult time for them. I would like for you to also pray for my family as there is so much we are going through right now. I know it will all be fine but just need the extra prayers. Well I'm heading to the hospital to spend time with my daughter. Will try and keep you posted once I know how she is doing as they did not give her medications she normally takes and made her stay up until 3am last night. Not sure why but will find out today. If I haven't told all of you before I truly am blessed to have all of you in my life and I love you all dearly. Blessings to you today and always.
