WHAT A FIND!

Last Friday we went up to Waco as Justin was in need of some groceries. Carol wanted to make his bean and sausage soup and the saugage was a a great price. Of couse we figured out it was labeled with the incorrect weight. HEB has a store policy that whatever price is marked is what you pay. I remember one time we got cheese that was marked $0 and that is what we paid zero. That was about 5 plus years ago. Anyway I thought it was a really good deal that Carol found. Justin got a few extras because of our savings on this item. He also had a concert Friday that was just fantastic as always. His band left for a 3 day tour on Sunday first place was Houston. Not sure where else but I know this is up his alley! I'm so proud of him as again he made the deans list. GREAT JOB JUSTIN! I better go for now and get dinner.

Been Busy!

I have been so busy lately. Last week was one of those weeks you just want to hide in bed for a long winter nap. Actually I think it was two weeks ago. Yes I got the bug but I'm fine now. I was blessed this past weekend as Shelby came for an overnight visit. I picked her up on my way home from work. We went by Target (which is a better place to shop here than Walmart) as I needed to get a few things. Of course grandma found Shelby a small ball to play with. She loves that ball. I tried to show her how to roll the ball but she would just smile and hand the ball back to me and wait for me to roll it back to her. She was also very glad to see grandpa. Saturday morning Jessica called and wanted to come over and bring Annalise. Was I ever excited both babies at the same time. It was wonderful! Poor Jessica really needed a change of scenery. Shelby just loves Annalise and Jessica kissed Annalise on the hand and Shelby copied her. It was so sweet I loved to see the interaction between them. I even got to watch Annalise while Jessica went to the store. Jessica even got a well needed nap during her visit. I look forward to more visits. Monday of this week I had to go to Dallas for an insurance coding seminar. We left around 3pm and spent the night in Irving then got up and went to Dallas for the seminar. It was a great seminar and I got lots of good information. There was 10 of us and it was nice to get out of the office for a change. It gave us a chance to relax. Today I took Jennifer to take Shelby to the doctor. Yeah she has the virus and was not able to hold anything down. We found out that Shelby was throwing up because she was so thirsty she would just suck down the pedialite and it was just going in to quickly. She has to give her a syringe at a time every 5 minutes until she can hold it down better. Jennifer told me late this afternoon she was sleeping alot today I told her that is how her body heals. Hopefully she will be back to herself soon. I hope all of you are well and I will see or talk to you soon.
